Marmalade [Gt Oneshot]
I shifted my weight forward, moving from a cross-legged position onto my knees. Scarlett moaned breathy nothingness. She rolled to face me, eyes still closed. One of her arms cranked under her head, hand sticking up through her messy hair. She breathed in forcefully, groaning, blowing raspberries as her lips caught together, her nose crinkled. I smiled. I think she could feel my eyes on her. Her eyebrows knit together barely and her dark lashes fluttered. I didn’t catch her eyes, but her heart drummed in the back of my head and it gave her away. Her face contorted in frustration and she shifted violently, rolling back over to face away from me with a huff. I nibbled at my tongue and the inside of my cheek, fighting a laugh, and fighting the urge to rip her out of bed. I leaned back- to get away from her, clear my mind- idly glancing at the clock. 6:25, it read, and so I stood silently.
